Playing Blowin’ Smoke live with SMITH Country Band in Palm Desert, California was an unforgettable experience. The desert sunset set the perfect mood — warm, glowing, and full of anticipation. As we hit the stage, the crowd’s energy was incredible. Every smile, every cheer, every person dancing reminded us why we love performing live music.

The audience in Palm Desert was one of the most enthusiastic we’ve ever played for. From the first note to the last, they gave it back to us — clapping, singing, and vibing with every groove. There’s a special kind of magic that happens when the band locks in and the crowd responds in perfect rhythm.

I played my Kiesel 5-String P Bass, and its tone cut through beautifully — deep, clear, and powerful. That instrument really helped shape the feel of the performance. Sharing that energy with such a great group of people was truly inspiring.

Behind the Groove

Each show teaches me something new about music and connection. That night reaffirmed that live performance is about more than notes — it’s about creating moments. Palm Desert, you made it special. Thank you for being part of the journey!
